Who are we
GET TO KNOW US
Born out of Matt’s drunken need for a dirty kebab, we got to work creating our realistic meat-free alternatives with the aim to really “hit the spot”.
After about one year of experimenting with Seitan (much trial and error……and swearing) we decided to reach out to local street food markets with the aim to bring our dishes to market and share our creations with other hungry vegans.
To our suprise, our first event at GRUB MCR was a huge success, we sold out of everything (gutted, we didn’t get any lunch!)
This gave us the confidence to get more bookings in and really go for it, building up a loyal fanbase of vegan kebab whores enthusiasts.
We were also working full time jobs whilst smashing the markets at weekends, when we were given the opportunity to go in full-time at The Market UoM.
Since then, we’ve never looked back! We’ve been operating there since 2019 which has allowed us to do what we love for a living.

The guy with the beard and bun. The organised one, sending emails, paying suppliers, making bookings. Stockport County fan, vinyl collector, gym-goer.

The creative one, ideas guy. Expert van driver/wrap master. Branding, menus, flyers, socials. Often found painting with a glass of whisky in spare time.

KEBAB THE CAT
Rescue cat from Bahrain, now resides in Stockport. Beauty over brains. Loves cuddles, fuss and treats. Often found eating, sleeping and eating.
